* Material consumption depends on the quality of the substrate preparation, application method, tools used, qualification of the workers and may differ from the specified values.
** At t (+20±2) °C and relative air humidity not exceeding (65±5) %. When the temperature decreases or humidity increases, the drying time may increase.
Paint tinting can be carried out in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use products with the same batch number (see packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color matching.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used as soon as possible to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Substrate preparation
Substrate preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the substrate of dust and dirt. Remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash from previously painted surfaces. Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces to a matte state, and remove sanding dust.
Level out irregularities, depressions, cracks, and chips with water-dispersion filler and sand them down. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Intensively absorbing surfaces should be pre-primed to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. For manual application, to improve adhesion to low-absorbent and smooth mineral substrates, it is recommended to use Bergauf Facade Grunt adhesive primer.
It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of substrate), as well as putties.
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean. The temperature of the substrate and the environment for paint application must be between +5 °C and +35 °C, with a relative air humidity of (65±5) %. During the work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity conditions, and atmospheric precipitation.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use product with the same batch number (see packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio.
Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from the reference samples. Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for compliance with the desired color.
Application technology
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or hopper gun in 1 layer onto the prepared surface. Parameters for spray application: for paint with a grain size of 0.5 mm — 1.0 mm, pressure 3 atm, nozzle diameter 4 mm. More precise parameters are determined by test painting at the site.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at temperatures not less than +5°C and not more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is allowed for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heating and storage under direct sunlight should be avoided. Subject to the conditions, the guaranteed shelf life in closed factory packaging is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, product separation may occur, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Keep partially used product in a tightly closed container and use as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion safe, and does not contain flammable components.
