Purpose:
Decorative plaster for facade and interior finishing, imitating various textures of natural stone, marble, limestone, concrete, and other mineral structures.
Thanks to a variety of techniques and special application tools, it allows for the creation of unique interior designs in various styles: classic, eclectic, loft, high-tech, Art Deco, and others. Ideal for decorating residential premises, halls, corridors, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. It is also used in various design solutions for building facades, interior decoration of offices, hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers.

FIELD OF APPLICATION
Used for exterior and interior work in rooms with normal and high humidity. Applied to concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, gypsum, cement, lime, cement-lime plasters, gypsum board, chipboard, fiberboard, as well as firmly adhering surfaces previously painted with water-dispersion paints. Suitable for manual and machine application.
Allowed for use in buildings and structures of types:
Type A — residential buildings and dormitories; buildings and premises of organizations for upbringing and education, recreation and health improvement of children and youth; healthcare organizations; homes for the disabled and elderly; sanatoriums; rest homes; indoor sports facilities; service premises with permanent human presence in administrative buildings at industrial enterprises and other objects of
types B, V.
Type B — food industry, trade, and public catering enterprises; hotels; non-food stores; communication enterprises; consumer service enterprises; cultural and entertainment facilities; administrative buildings.
Type V — industrial enterprises, auxiliary and utility rooms and structures; warehouses; garages.

Tinting
Decorative plaster is produced as a base and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method into RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs. Manual tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes with high light and weather resistance.
It is recommended to add no more than 5% of colorant, as overdosing negatively affects the strength and workability of the coating application.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result.
Depending on application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may slightly differ from those presented in the color catalog.
Before use, a trial application must be performed and the dried coating checked for color compliance.
To avoid shade differences, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
The use of intense or dark colors with a reflection coefficient of less than 25% on facades should be limited to small surfaces occupying no more than 10% of the facade, such as individual architectural details.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must comply with the requirements of SP 71.13330.2017.
Concrete, reinforced concrete, cellular concrete – age over 3 months and relative humidity not more than 4%;
Cement-sand, cement-lime plasters – age 28 days and relative humidity not more than 4%;
BERGAUF ISOFIX, BAU PUTZ ZEMENT, UNTER BAU, GLATTE ZEMENT, FINISH ZEMENT – age over 3 days and relative humidity not more than 6%;
Sheet gypsum-, cement-, wood-containing materials, as well as gypsum plasters – thickness not less than 10 mm, relative humidity not more than 1%.
To achieve an ideal decorative effect, the deviation of the substrate evenness when checked with a two-meter straightedge should be no more than the size of the fraction used in the product.
Before application, clean the surface of dirt and dust, peeling old coatings, and oil stains – everything that can impair the adhesion of the material to the substrate. Damaged old coatings must be removed. It is recommended to fill large cracks with a plaster compound (e.g., BERGAUF BAU PUTZ ZEMENT) 24 hours before the main plastering. Sheet materials must be firmly fixed with an increased fastening coefficient of 1.2.
To improve adhesion, reduce gaps, and enhance the quality of the decorative plaster pattern, pre-treat the surface with Bergauf TechnoPrimer and/or Bergauf Techno Primer Paint and dry for 4 hours. If necessary, the primer-paint should be tinted to the color of the subsequent coating.

WORK PROCEDURE
Before application, the plaster must be thoroughly mixed, as product separation may occur during storage. Dilution of the plaster with water in an amount of no more than 5% by weight of the material is allowed.
Apply the plaster with a trowel, spatula, structural roller, or other tool that allows for the creation of the required decorative effects. After complete drying, the coating polishes well with a spatula or trowel. To obtain a higher gloss, a sander and/or protective wax emulsion can be used; for additional surface tinting, use a glazing compound.
To create the "Map of the World" effect, use rollers with a pile of 12-15mm, a metal spatula, and a Venetian trowel/plastering trowel.

Application is recommended in 3 stages: 
1. Generously pick up material on the roller and apply to the substrate in a 2mm layer. Then distribute the material evenly over the surface.
2. Use the same roller to create a "Shagreen" relief with top-to-bottom movements several times. Wait for complete drying - 24 hours.
3. After the "Shagreen" relief has dried, generously apply material to the entire surface of the trowel using a spatula and, with patting movements on the trowel surface, form "pull-offs" in the form of shagreen. Next, stamp the trowel with shagreen onto the first layer of the "Shagreen" relief, remove excess material from the trowel with a spatula, and use the edge of the trowel at a 40-degree angle to level the material with chaotic movements, obtaining a pattern in the form of a "Map of the World" with smoothed islands and shagreen between them. Repeat the movements until the entire area is covered. Wait for complete drying - 24 hours.
If after complete drying there are large burrs on the surface that interfere with tactile perception, they can be treated with sandpaper with an abrasive of no more than 180P. Then be sure to cover the surface with a protective varnish for water-dispersion coatings to protect the coating after sanding. After the varnish dries, the surface will level out into a uniform color.
If it is necessary to stop work at the boundary of the plaster layer, apply masking tape, which must be removed before the plaster hardens.

At an ambient temperature below +20°C and relative air humidity above 60%, the decorative plaster should be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and rain for the first 3 days after application. Under such conditions, it is recommended to cover scaffolding with a special mesh or film and install water drains on the building. Do not allow freezing or overdrying.
Interior finishing should only be performed in well-ventilated rooms, and after work is completed, maintain air circulation until the coating is completely dry.
Clean tools with water immediately after work. If tools were not cleaned immediately, they can only be cleaned mechanically later.

It is forbidden to work during precipitation, fog, as well as on wet surfaces after rain and at temperatures below +5°C and above +30°C.  

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Work should be performed using personal protective equipment for hands, eyes, and respiratory tract. Use in well-ventilated rooms.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at temperatures from +5°C to +30°C. Five-fold freezing for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than –40°C is allowed. Protect the product bucket from excessive heating and avoid storage under direct sunlight. Subject to storage conditions, the guaranteed shelf life in closed original packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture. The product is fire and explosion safe, containing no flammable components.

DISPOSAL
Do not pour into sewers, water bodies, or onto soil. Take dry empty containers to a landfill; transfer liquid residues to hazardous waste collection points.
