The paint is designed for painting the facades of residential and administrative buildings. The paint can be applied to surfaces made of brick, concrete, asbestos cement, plastered and previously painted surfaces exposed to atmospheric influences, as well as used indoors to obtain coatings resistant to wet cleaning and washing.
The paint can be applied to concrete, brick, fiberboard and particle board, gypsum board, plastered, previously painted surfaces (but not glossy). Not recommended for painting plinths.
For manual and mechanized application.
Tinting and color solutions
The paint is produced in two bases, A and C, and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method into RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades, and can also be used as white paint; it is permissible to add up to 5% tinting pastes by weight of the paint. Base C is used only in tinted form and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; it is permissible to add up to 10% tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
When painting in bright colors using Base C, it is recommended to first apply a coat of Base A paint tinted in a similar shade. Manual tinting using water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Color rendering features
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color matching.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
Substrate preparation
Prepare the substrate in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the substrate from dust and dirt. Remove unstable layers of old paint and whitewash from previously painted surfaces. Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces to a matte state, remove sanding dust.
Level irregularities, depressions, cracks, and chips with water-dispersion putty, then sand. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Pre-prime intensely absorbent surfaces to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of substrate).
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean, the substrate temperature for performing work from +5°C, the air temperature during application from +10°C to +35°C, relative air humidity below 80%. It is recommended to use paint from the same production batch to eliminate differences in the shade of the finish coat.
Material preparation
Mix the paint thoroughly. It is necessary to mix with a wide and flat slat or a construction mixer at low speeds, carefully, avoiding the formation of air bubbles, for 1−3 minutes. It is not recommended to mix the material by shaking the closed can. After transportation and/or active mixing, if air bubbles occur, the paint needs to settle until they disappear.
Application technology
Apply the paint to the prepared dry, clean surface with a brush, roller, or spray gun. For rough surfaces such as textured plasters, brick, concrete blocks, relief ceilings, it is recommended to use rollers with a pile length of 12−25 mm. For rough surfaces such as putties, plasters, concrete, fiberglass, painting non-woven fabric — with a pile length of 8−12 mm. For smooth surfaces such as gypsum board, MDF, particle board, elements of architectural decor (platbands, moldings, ceiling cornices) — with a pile length of up to 6 mm.
The paint is ready for use; for application by brush or roller, it is possible to dilute with water by no more than 5% if necessary. For airless spraying, dilution with water by 5−10% is allowed, nozzle 0.013−0.015″, pressure 180−190 bar. The spray angle is chosen based on the area and geometric features of the surface being painted.
To obtain a saturated color and improve the appearance of the surface, it is necessary to apply two coats of paint.
Precautions
When performing work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity conditions.
Upon completion of work, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is allowed for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heating and storage under direct sunlight should be avoided. Subject to the conditions, the guaranteed shelf life in closed factory packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, product separation is possible, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Keep partially used product in a tightly closed container and use as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-safe and does not contain flammable components.
