*Material consumption depends on the quality of substrate preparation, application method, tools used, and the skill of the workers, and may differ from the specified values.

TINTING
The antiseptic is produced in two bases, A and C, and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method into a limited palette of RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades and can also be used as a white antiseptic; it is permissible to add up to 5% tinting pastes by weight of the paint. Base C is used only in tinted form and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; it is permissible to add up to 10% tinting pastes by weight of the product. When painting in bright colors using Base C, it is recommended to first apply a layer of Base A antiseptic tinted to a similar shade. Manual tinting using water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may slightly differ from those presented in the color catalog.
Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The surface to be treated must be dry, thoroughly cleaned of dirt, wax, grease, resin, and old paint coatings. Surfaces previously covered with other compositions must be cleared of old peeling material, sanded, and dusted. Areas affected by blue stain and mold should be pre-cleaned mechanically and treated with a wood antiseptic agent.
Pre-treat the surface to be painted with Bergauf Wood Techno Aquaprim primer; saturate the end grains until fully impregnated.
 
WORK PROCEDURE
The antiseptic must be thoroughly mixed before use. It is also recommended to periodically stir the product during work. Wood moisture content should not exceed 20%.
The surface to be treated must be dry and clean; the air and substrate temperature for the work must be at least +10°C, with a relative air humidity of no more than 80%.
The composition is applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer along the wood grain, across the entire length of the material being treated. If necessary, dilute the antiseptic with clean water, no more than 5% of the product volume.
The end grains of the surface to be painted must be treated very thoroughly. Apply in 1–2 layers for indoor application, and in 2–3 layers for outdoor application.
The color intensity of the coating depends on the type of wood, the quality of surface treatment, and the number of layers applied. To determine the required color intensity, perform a test application on the surface to be painted.
It is recommended to use an antiseptic from the same production batch. If using different batches, the product must be mixed in a single container.
It is forbidden to carry out painting work during rain, fog, or drizzle.
After finishing work, clean the tools with water.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Work should be performed using personal protective equipment for hands, eyes, and respiratory tract. Use in well-ventilated areas. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. If necessary, consult a doctor. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children!

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of at least +5°C and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is allowed for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than -40°C. Protect the product container from excessive heating and avoid storage under direct sunlight. Subject to these conditions, the guaranteed shelf life in closed original packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.

DISPOSAL
Do not pour the antiseptic into sewers, water bodies, or onto the soil. Dispose of the container and liquid residues in accordance with local legislation.
